ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
This year's Black Maternal Health Conference features local researchers, birth workers, holistic practitioners, business owners, advocates, activists and professionals who work within the realm of maternal health and wellness here in Knoxville to include the tri-cities. This event brings awareness, education, interactive modules and art together in all things black maternal health for our community addressing the shortcomings of maternal health for women of color & their families.
The Conference overview includes our keynote, ceremonial blessing, education and awareness workshops, maternal health & wellness vendors, onsite demonstrations, refreshments, music, mini photo sessions; ending with an ode and tribute to mothers.
